It also cooled down. We were very hot and dry from about the 10th of June until about the 20th of July. Then it cooled down and started raining. I had all the pasture mowed so conditions were perfect for the way the pasture responded.

Ye of little faith.

Ahhh. Yes, that too. ;-)

If she had balls she’d be a tank of a bull.

Does her phenotype favor that of her Sire or her Dam?

Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy cattle and that's pretty much the same thing.

Interesting story on her; she HATED our son with a PASSION! She did everything she could to stay as far away from him as she could, and would stomp all over him if she had no escape. She was perfectly fine with my daughter, so they traded heifers that year. We took her to the Nationals that were in KY, the same year we met Ron in real life (after several years of chatting with him here). Ron fell in love with her and bought her! She was actually named after Ron, "Ronnie", by my son, when she was born. I warned Ron about her attitude, but she never had a problem with Ron so it was just something with my son (he wiggled and jumped around a lot - likely scared her)...
Here is Ron holding her before she went into her class at Nationals.... little did he know at that time he would eventually own her.
