That slept in Galveston bay last night are going to sleep in the skillet tonight.
We didn’t catch but five really nice fish though. West wind had the bay Water dirty. Had to get on the edge of Channel to get to clear and deeper water.

If my driver didn’t have to work tomorrow I be chasing them again.
The weather service man that said SW winds at 4 was only off by 10 to 11 mph and direction of due west.
That high pressure sitting on Dallas caused some weird winds for this time of year on the bay.
Odd part was it actually quite a bit cooler at 90 degrees, watched the temp climb all the way home on the truck. Got home it was reading 100.

Already planning a trip for several days with the boys in August.

We went a couple weeks ago. Same thing. We were neck deep on our tip toes dragging them in. We are going Friday and Saturday again.

Nope.
If I have to drive three hours there won’t be any fishing. If you live to be old enough for replacement parts you’ll understand.

I should have put in at Smith Pt or Stingray and fished East bay.
My chauffeur would have drove anywhere. I had gotten some decent reports around marker 51.
