Pennsylvania pheasant hunt 2018

Postby Hook2.0 » Mon Oct 08, 2018 3:27 pm

Just got back from this years hunt. 3 guys, 2 hunts. Put and take
First morning we went 11 for 14. It was hot and the dogs were new this season. They pushed birds up too far out.
Second morning hunt was foggy, cooler and over better dogs. Went 19 of 15 after doing some scratch hunting. Including a chukar. Most of the birds flew my way the second day, and the citori I got from Kenny after last februarys hunt worked well

That should be worth some pheasant meat.

My thoughts only, don't bet the farm on them. KT
