We got one for Christmas, and have only used it twice. The fries were OK, not as advertised. The first time it was our fault, the second time I think they came out the way they're supposed to. As with all things, we're going to have to play with it to figure it out. Oh darn, right? I'm looking forward to making cookies or cake in it, should be pretty good.

Playing with it helps a lot. I get recipes from FB pages but these things don't always cook the same.
I wish my brain could forget what my eyes have seen.

It says to do fries at 400 for 20 minutes, but I'm thinking about boosting the temperature is going to help. Have you found that increasing the temp has helped out?

Mine is the Power XL and has a one button French fry setting. I'm not sure of the temp or time. I do jumbled them up at the 9 minute mark tho. They always turn out good. One of these days I'll be trying out fresh potatoes instead of the frozen.
