Poor thing didn't get to choose what gender she identified with.....to bad -IT- wasn't here... I have a lead injector that would make the decision for it....

I don't think that it was so terrible what they did. Basically they removed some mostly non-functioning extra parts that were causing problems, and prevented a possible cancer situation in the future. Sure there were other ways to end it and I'm not saying that might not have been better, but they didn't exactly do a gender reassignment, just fixed something defective since both parts were not fully functional. I think that some people have more money than sense, but it isn't like they tried to take a functional male and make it into a functional female for no good reason. Years ago we would have just put it down, but today pets are more of family members than some people are.
