When I told my wife about this site she immediately named it "Redneck Facebook", but other than that, no.

Knowing that foreign governments are trying to use FB and other social media to turn us all against each other kind of, well, turned me off it.

I am on there. I keep a couple truly liberal "friends" from college b/c the stuff they say is so wild. For the most part, I use it to keep in touch with friends from college and some local folks that I like.

I have an account that I opened years ago, but I gradually lost interest. I suppose it just doesn’t fit my personality. I got tired of seeing pictures of dinner plates, and every mundane move that someone made.

I saw my 2 sister's in law get into a honest-to-gawd, real physical knock down dragout, hair pulling, kickin, clothes torn, scratchin, cussin, fistfight in M-I-L's living room all because one 'unfriended' the other.
"the be nice unfriended me!" and the fight was on.
It was a real hoot to watch.

Some people get beside themselves about that and will use the "unfriend" threat like a weapon.

A lot of murders from unfriending on fakebook. A couple took a bullet to the head for unfriending not far from here.

I detest that show and those like it but yeah, it was pretty much like that.

I went to a Jerry Springer show for my birthday once. It was friggin hilarious. Total put-on. If you view it as an absurd thing, it's pretty well-done. And he's totally in on the joke.

I believe I've been included in a photo that was put on instagram, so that counts.

We honeymooned in Chicago. We tried going to a Jerry show, but they weren't taping. Neither was Oprah. At least the Shedd was open, so it wasn't a total loss.
