They are our favorite calves from last year. We think Rampage has a sheath problem and I can point to about 30 steers from him right now that have it. We won't be using him again.

Our favorite heifers have come out of Consensus 7229 sons and Impression. Hickock is top 2 for us. We have used him for the last 2 years and are big fans.

I am down on the ranch right now. The Hickok calves are amazing. I will try and post some pics for you all.

horned frog,

How are the dispositions on the rampage calves? I have only seen a handful, but they were average at best on disposition.. don't remember a sheath problem thou.

We have not seen an issue at all. I've about half decided it is 60-70% how you raise them and how often you are around them about 10-20% genetics and 20-30% how the momma raises them. Such a mix, but we have not noticed any particular issue.

Thanks. I agree about your percentages. maybe 20-30% genetics and 10-20% about momma if I would change it any. most of it is definitely how you raise them.
