Sour Dock

I have sour dock growing all over my far pasture. I have heard it is bad for livestock. My horses wont touch it, but the goats and cows seem to go right to it. i have moved them from this pasture, but really need to put them back. How dangerous is dock to cattle and or goats for that matter?

Dock can be poisonous if eaten in large quantities. Here is a link from Missouri on integrated pest management control of dock. It has a list of herbicides and their effectiveness on control.
