I have a first calf heifer Black Angus the calf is about 2 months old all’s good . My question is one of the teets has gotten bit and it’s not swollen no mastitis just a little bit of blood around where she got bit by another heifer but hurts calf can’t suck on that test wondering what to use before mastitis or infection sets in .

I don't think many of the members check the "Got Milk" board very often. You may want to re-post your question in the Beginners, Health or Breeding and calving issues to get more replies.
I have had a few cows with cuts and scrapes on their teats over the years. Most healed up without infection or mastitis. It really depends on how bad the bite is. How deep is it? Does she let the calf nurse that quarter at all?
