I remember when Conrad Dobler played as he was a dirty player. He hurt his arm and then wrapped it up and used it as a club.

Football aint good for old age though as he has had nine knee replacements.

I remember a player complaining about Conrad Dobler saying he had recovered a fumble and on bottom of the pile
when Dobler bit him on the back of his calf like it was a big ol' turkey drumstick.

Anybody remember Chuck Cecil?

Miami?

He did play for the Packers. Then went to Phoenix and drew even more attention. He was absolutely vicious. He couldn't play today or he would get a thrown out every game for targeting. They nicknamed him "scud" because he only weighed 185 pounds and would literally launch his body in the air like a scud missile, head first, and it was usually hit or miss. He retired fairly young due to numerous concussions.

Cecil hit Washington Redskins tight end Ron Middleton so hard on a reception over the middle that it knocked Middleton's helmet off with both ends of the double chin strap still connected. Not only was Cecil fined $30,000 but the NFL actually banned the video of the hit which just like any controversial album or book, made the hit, and Cecil's legend, that much more popular.

Sports Illustrated made him a cover story.
