It has been a very hard day. I really needed these scriptures, especially Job. Thank you for sharing.

Romans 8:18

I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.
I wish my brain could forget what my eyes have seen.

Mathew 14
28 And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.

29 And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.

30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.

31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

I like these verses. A great show of power, and weakness. A man of great faith stepped in to the unknown, and eventually cried out for help.

There is beauty in the scriptures. Does anyone know of anything written today that follows the style and measure of the Bible?

But even the common poem is no longer in style. People no longer enjoy the cadence and measure of the written word.

A Christian woman is to be quiet in all workings of the Church. She is to be learned but only criticize in private. Is the book of Ester the only book about a woman in the bible.

This is for the dogs that I have loved and lost.... King James Version
Luke 3:6
And all flesh shall see the salvation of God

Romans 8: 18-24
For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory
which shall be revealed in us.
For the earnest expectation of the creature (animals) was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected
the same in hope,
Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
And not only they, (animals) but ourselves also, which have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body........

Psalms 36:6
Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O Lord, thou preservest man and breast.

Now that is a wise policy! If I hear more good things like that, I may think harder about my salvation. :D

You are a good one chuckie, hope all is well in TN.

A woman isn't suppose to lead a church or a family, but she does have to right to share the gospel.
