    On the road

Country kids, at 6 I plowed fields with a Ford jubilee and a two row turning plow. Uncle would put me on it at 5:30 or 6 and would come back at lunch and bring me lunch and get me at dark. Worked 6 days a week during the summer and got paid 50 cents a day. I was driving a 3/4ford truck to...

Pay no attention to this post

“Got a very good friend fighting it now, going on year 3. In good shape for the shape he is in but it is some bad stuff.” Our son is going on year three as well, he also is in good shape for the shape he’s in. With out a doubt some bad stuff that has no mercy.

    Any Corvette Fans Here

Both were ZR-1s Loved the 69 but the 2001 and 2003 was the best riding. I think they should have left the Corvette alone and built the mid engine as a new car for those that wanted that type of ride. Even the 2000s up became a nightmare for all the modern junk on them.

    Any Corvette Fans Here

Have had vettes from 1958,60,65,69,72,73,78,80,87,90,87,95,98, 2001and 2003 was the last one life on the lake now and have about a mile of gravel road. Gravel roads and vettes don’t do well. Our oldest son still has the 58, he was brought home from the hospital in it.

    National Health Care

If you can afford the insurance you still have it and as far as medical you get on a waiting list and they might get to you eventually.

Which truck to buy based on these needs and travel.

I just replaced a 2008 5.3 because of the active fuel management system at 153000. Had been told it was turned off when I bought it with 82000. Cost 4800 and that was buying a GM re-manufactured crate engine and me doing the work.

Got a message from Angie on the CTB board (maybe her/maybe not) asking about my health . . . .

Thanks for the reminder, wife and I sold out of cattle a few years ago but after the reminder have been catching up on the world of raising livestock.

    Getting A .38

The military quit using the 38 years ago and went to the 45 because that 38 will not stop a man from doing you harm. Yes you can kill with a 22, but you can also kill a man with the right blow with your hand. Everone talks about kick and recoil if you pratice enough you will never feel it...
