I am looking for leads on finding this cross. From large calf raisers or perhaps folks with limi-jersey cross cows. heifers ready to breed, would consider all. Most likely from those using Wulf limi semen. Since I am not in the dairy region have no clue who these large calf raisers are...

You can have any breed you like, just keep in mind the feed and the effort to modify the environment that may be necessary to keep that breed alive and functioning to the level designed... how much time and money to own that breed in you location, are you willing to invest?

If your thinking tarentaise, I would highly recommend investigating aubrac. I investigated both and for me the aubrac is a better choice.

To answer your 2 questions No & No. But I find his numbers very interesting and somewhat different from most other OCC EPD's, with the YW and $B along with a few other numbers..If those numbers hold up when he is used in more herds, he is very interesting.

I have johnson grass hay that the test says to only feed 50% as part of the ration to preg cows. My question is what kind of supplement can I formulate with ddg's to get in line with recommendations. I feed the hay free choice.
