This sale represented a true breeders sale. Over 96 percent of the cattle sold were producers on the farm and all calves were by bulls owned by Karr Farm, used as natural sires. A huge crowd of people was on hand as trailers were backed up for mile. The sale was steady with special interest in bull calves. The cattle looked alike and produced alike. The EPD's were especially strong.

Volume Buyer: Watkins Angus Farm, McKenzie, Tenn.

Auctioneers: Jarvene Shackelford and Eddie Burks.
