Her 11 29 01 heifer calf by B/R New Design 036 sold for $1,500 to Ray Bar Farms, Crossville, Tenn. Consigned by Hope Hill Farm of Milan, Tenn.

Second High Pair:

Lot 18 -- $4,300 -- PR Pride Lady 730A. A 11 10 99 daughter of VDAR Lucys Boy bred to GAR 6807 Traveler 4144 for $3,000 sold to Alan Ladd of Hernando, Miss. Her 9 8 01 bull calf by Generation Band 505 sold for $1,300 to Bill Richards, Northport, Ala. Consigned by Watson Angus Farm, Lincoln, Ala.

Third High Pair:

Lot 8 -- $3,500 -- Ingrams 0M31 A163 Juice E330. A 10 28 95 daughter of Rito 0M31 of 5H11 Scotch Cap bred to Rito 9FB3 sold for $1,500 to Milvern Nabors of Cordova, Ala. Her 8 25 01 heifer calf by Rito 6N18 of 3B 19 Rito 3W3 sold for $2,000 to Elise Angus of McKenzie, Tenn. Consigned by Ingram Cattle Co., Water Valley, Miss.

Top Bred Heifer:

Lot 19 -- $2,500 -- White's Lynn 009. A 11 3 00 daughter of GAR Precision 11680 bred to Bon View New Design 878 sold to Elise Angus of McKenzie, Tenn. Consigned by White's Angus Farm, Huron, Tenn.

2nd High Bred Heifer:

Lot 38 -- $2,400 -- SAF Precision 168046. A 9 26 00 daughter of GAR Precision 1 680 bred to 13111 New Design 036 and sold to Grand Oak Farms, Benton, Tenn. Consigned by Spring Hill Farm Iuka, Miss.

Top Open Heifer:

Lot 24 -- $1,600 -- Double LL Pride 11. A 2 15 01 daughter of GAR Sleep Easy, 1009 sold to Sam Powell of Malden, Mo. Consigned by Double LL Farm, Sarah, Miss.

This was by far the best set of cattle ever consigned to this sale. The cattle were young, well presented, and represented the tops in performance Angus genetics. The bidding was active on all classes with the bred heifers attracting great interest.
