Calhoun, Ga.
A great crowd was on hand for the 3rd Annual Salacoa Valley Farms Built Tough Bull Sale held in Calhoun, Ga. Buyers and bidders appreciated the forage developed, stout and rugged two year old bulls. There were 59 buyers from nine states. The high selling bull was Lot 5, Cool of Salacoa, an Ali son out of the 23 cow family. He sold for $8,500 to Fulford Ranch in Florida. One of the highlights of the sale was when three full brothers came into the ring at the same time, all sired by New Era and out of the legendary 23D2 cow. They sold for: Lot 51 -- $5,900 to Fulford Ranches; Lot 54 -- $5,000 to Travis Harrell; and Lot 55 -- $6,100 to Johnny.
A fantastic offering by a successful program!
