Hill-Vue Farm of Blairsville, Ga., had it's first Open House Sale for bulls and heifers on Monday, November 1, 2004. Several people gathered to enjoy the hospitality of the Bud Hill Family. Buyers and bidders came from Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee and Florida to express their interest in the linebred Graham Angus offering and the linebred Trask/Felton Herefords by Hill-Vue. Top Angus bull was lot 374, Fintry of Graham HV374, born 1-15-03, by Fintry of Graham 47519 that went to Bass Hyatt of Brasstown, N.C., for $2,500. Three linebred Graham Angus heifers, bred to Rednock of Graham HV 273, went for $1,700 each to Jason Ledford of Young Harris, Ga.; Terry Legg of Blairsville, Ga.; and Tommy Collins of Robbinsville, N.C. Volume buyer was Fred Martin of Brasstown, N.C., who bought 15 Herefords bred to Rednock of Graham HV 273 and Fintry of Graham 43141.
