2nd High Pair:

Lot 54 -- $2,700 � Twin Valley Barbara 4901. A 10-29-01 daughter of Twin Valley Ambush 6159, bred to Homestead Top Traveler 201, sold for $1,700 to Joe and Deloma Walters Ragland, Ala. Her 5-3-04 heifer calf by Bon View New Design 878, sold for $1,000 to Adam Amos, Boaz, Ala.

Top Bull:

Lot 1 -- $2,000 � McBee Tacker 1661. A 1-15-01 son of Car Tracker 904, sold to John Perkins, Danville, Ala. Consigned by Hood-Richman Farms, Winchester, Tenn.

2nd High Bull:

Lot 119 -- $1,875 � HRCC Easy Neutron 58-0863. A 9-15-03 son of SA Neutron 377, sold to Jimmy McCrary, Stevenson, Ala. Consigned by Hood-Richman Farms, Winchester, Tenn.

This was a very uniform, well conditioned set of cattle, even though they were from three different farms. Many new Angus breeders were on hand to start their programs. The cows with fall calves or very close to calving in strongest demand. The set of young, well conditioned bulls from the Hood-Richman Farms were in strong demand.
