    Small Feed Bin

I hand mix a different feed mix for starting calves out with some sweet feed added to the mix. Been thinking about looking for a large used Job Box type chest to keep this mix in. Feed it out in 5 gallon buckets anyway and seems like it would be better than barrels. Opinions?

    Trailer Delivery

If the trailer already has Detroit Police on the side of it, you should have police in a cruiser to escort you in or receive combat pay for the job.

    V Rake Poll

I would like to poll fellow CT forum members on small 8-12 wheel carted wheel rakes with kicker wheel/wheels, used in grass hay. All rakes are close in price and come from good dealers. Comments are welcome.

Checking out some new Deere paint

Mother Deere has found the SynroPlus transamission only fit to put in open station tractors these days.

Checking out some new Deere paint

The SyncroPlus transmission will let you shift gears and ranges on the go. It works well.

Checking out some new Deere paint

I did check out the T4 tractors and drove one. Thought they looked a little light in the rear but the price wasn't too bad.

Checking out some new Deere paint

Glad to hear the 5100M is doing well for you SmokinM. Do you have a loader on, if so how much weight will it lift before the rear starts gets a little bouncy? bigbull338 have you had any issues or problems with your 6105D? From the best I can tell from the Deere website the standard 6105D...

Checking out some new Deere paint

I have been thinking some about trading tractors. Looking for a replacement for a 20+ year old 6300 Deere with cab, SyncroPlus transmission, loader and 2 wheel drive. I mostly do hay, feed 4'x5' round bales and run a 8' bush hog on some hilly ground. I have some concern about the emissions...

    Rotary Mower

As some has mentioned the 8 foot machine would be a good size and would be as easy to get down the road as a 7 foot mower, but you are gaining a lot more mechanical parts to gain a extra foot of cutting capacity. The 8' mower gains 2 gearboxes, 2 cross shafts, 2 blades and a stump jumper.

    Rotary Mower

One thing that concerns me on the Bush Hog 320 series is that most of the frame is actually under the deck. You gotta wonder what happens to the frame if the blades get pushed up.

    Rotary Mower

I have experience with both 3 point & pickup mowers. I have found the pull models work better for me on the hills of east Tennessee. Pull models seem to make the tractor more stable on the steeper hills. About the only reason for me to have a 3 point mower would be to save money since the 3...

    Rotary Mower

Been looking at some Bush Hog (model 327) & Rhino (models 284 & 484) 7 foot pull rotary mowers. Anybody got opinions on these?

candate for father of the year

A guy that would put his 2 year son between himself & the cops as a shield, needs one well placed bullet between the eyeballs. Just my 2 cents worth on the matter.

    Ice Cream anyone?

I am afraid a lot of us will be feeding the cow & forking the poop while somebody else is enjoying the ice creme.

    John Deere 6300 fuel system??

If my 6300 sat more than a day it would get air in the fuel system. The check valve on most the early 6000 series tractors are located in the tank. I put a check valve in the hose coming out of the tank & that solved the problem. Deere dealers stock them.
