    Small Feed Bin

I hand mix a different feed mix for starting calves out with some sweet feed added to the mix. Been thinking about looking for a large used Job Box type chest to keep this mix in. Feed it out in 5 gallon buckets anyway and seems like it would be better than barrels. Opinions?

    V Rake Poll

I would like to poll fellow CT forum members on small 8-12 wheel carted wheel rakes with kicker wheel/wheels, used in grass hay. All rakes are close in price and come from good dealers. Comments are welcome.

Checking out some new Deere paint

I have been thinking some about trading tractors. Looking for a replacement for a 20+ year old 6300 Deere with cab, SyncroPlus transmission, loader and 2 wheel drive. I mostly do hay, feed 4'x5' round bales and run a 8' bush hog on some hilly ground. I have some concern about the emissions...

    Feed Buggy

I have been looking for a good way to get bulk feed pellets from the Co-op to the farm and store them. I have been looking at the feed buggy and the corn caddy from Heavybilt Mfg. Has anyone had experience with these or other types of feed buggys and how good do they work out?

Heifer & Young Cow Breeding Problem

I seem to be having a problem with my heifers & young cows getting bred & breeding late. In the past I have had very little problems with this issue with only 5% to 10% of heifers not breeding. This percentage has jumped to 20%-25% in the last 2-3 years. The only things that I can think of that...

    Clippers for Freeze Branding

I am planning on freeze branding my breeding stock and need to get some clippers for the job. I will likely get the Oster A-5. I know the area to be branded should be close clipped. The question I have is what is the ideal size clipper head to get a close clip & not clog up?

    Headgate

Since this is my first post on the Cattle Forum I would like to say hello to everone. I have a cow/calf operation and usually run 60-70 cows. I am in the market for a new heavy duty manual headgate. This headgate must open wide enough for cows to pass through upon release. I have been...
