    Case 495 Struggling

    Sounds like filters to me.

    First time haying

If the bottom is still green then flip it over again and get it to dry. Putting up damp hay that is going to mold is a very costly endeavor.

    First time haying

Looks like there's a bit of un-raked hay at the bottom of that windrow. If so be careful I'll bet it's awfully green.

    T-post one, me zero

You walk thru the doors of an ER and they fix you up no matter what. A large segment of population can't/don't pay so the hospital eats all those costs. Since the hospital needs to earn money to stay operational they pass those unpaid bills onto the folks who have insurance or the ability to pay.

    Tractor tire size change

It maybe a euro spec tractor but I wouldn't call it Grey market. That model was originally imported and sold here.

    T-post one, me zero

Be glad you have an ER to go to. Our local ER closed down because of the costs associated with running a small rural hospital. So what once was a 1-20 minute ride to ER is now 1-1.5 hours....

    Tractor tire size change

That would be a 2wd tractor...

    Tractor tire size change

My literature lists 14.9R28 with 18.4R38 as a factory combination. There is no mention of the 23.1-34 at all.

    Tractor tire size change

Personally I would just stick with the current 23.1-34 rear tires. I don't row crop anything so wider is better for me. So if anything I would be swapping from a 20.8 to a 23.1.

    Tractor tire size change

Also a 20.8 on a 16" wheel will be taller than advertised 99% of the time.

    Tractor tire size change

You need to compare/measure the rolling circumference of your tires to the specs of new tires. Rolling circumference is the number you need to look at. Just a quick glance and a 20.8-38 ranges from 213" to 218". A 23.1-34 ranges from 209" to 213" And 18.4r38 for 201" to 208". None match up...

    T-post one, me zero

No wedding ring for me. As a farmer/mechanic/welder my hands are in a lot of hazardous places. My fingers are valuable so I don't want any extra risk to them.

    Summer weather predictions

Even with the rain we have gotten we are still in D2 Severe Drought.

    T-post one, me zero

I push the majority of my T-posts in with the bottom of the skid steer forks. But for the occasional random post I still use the finger smasher 9000. Got a few scars on my hands.

If you live in Northern USA, the Aurora Borealis will be visible next 2 nights.

Pretty typical to see it UP here. Last night was 100% cloud cover and rain so nothing was visible.

    Warmed up

Been in the 20s and 30s at night here with frost the last 3 nights. Days have been into the 50s and low 60s. Slowly but surely spring is coming.

    ATV

If overall size and maneuverability aren't a concern then get the man a SxS.

    Clover Galore

Fence charger isn't hot enough. Haha. Things are turning green here. Be grazing before June this year it looks like.

    Clover Galore

Clover in my pastures is great. Clover in my hay fields is miserable. Around here by the time the Clover is dry enough to bale the grass and trefoil in the field is so dry it disintegrates into a cloud of dust out the back of the baler.

    Irrigation water.

Still in a D2 severe drought according to the USDA map which is unheard of for April and May UP here. But when your average snowfall is 175" and you only get 47" during the winter you are headed for trouble.
