I purchased a few bred commercial heifers and also an open registered heifer from a "reputable" seller via auction last year. Only two have calved and the open still appears to be open. What have your experiences been when letting the seller know what is going on?

My bull has been having to rock back and forth before 'climbing' up on the cow to service. Is this a bad thing or makes no difference at all? We do not feed anything besides grass/hay and mineral salt.

What do or have you used to store your supplements? I am looking to start feeding some supplements, i.e. DDG, but don't have a place to store it and looking for some ideas. When they deliver, say between 1-3 tons, do they drop on the ground or can they dump into a bin? Thanks in advance.

He was born on Dec 20th and both he and momma are doing great, so far. I am very excited everything is good as he was sired by my uncle's limo bull who sired the heifer. Glad he didn't come any earlier as the weather had been in the single digits the few days leading up the the 20th.
