    Putting the kubota to work

Again not arguing with you about how hard it is on the equipment

    Putting the kubota to work

2nd time in 5,000 hours is a lot of hours. Not disagreeing with you that it is hard on the equipment and you have a valid argument but keep the maintenance up and keep her greased. I bought the tractor to use. End up doing all the mechanic work myself on my vehicles because I can’t justify...

Mixture on the cows, anywhere from 900-1450. When I sold the bull he was 1750 at 3 years old. Can understand the smaller calves out of the smaller cows. Just had that 1 dink calf I have talked about before, was 150lbs at 6 months and it was out of one of the smaller cows got rid of her. Gave her...

Calves so far this year. Four of them if you can zoom in. Need to just sell the herd like what was suggested before and replace with better genetics. Seems like there was some dwarf gene or something in the bull. Perfect for heifers but calves are 40lbs at birth and sometimes the calves don’t...

    Sweet corn seeds wth...

MFA coop in my area still has corn at decent prices, 7.98 lb for golden queen and peaches and cream. Really like the hybrid sweet corn trinity, stays shorter and doesn’t shade out the rest of my small garden.

    Sweet corn seeds wth...

Your idea of to much water and soil not draining are probably solid ideas. Are they mulched to heavily? There is also a bacteria that can get in the soil and infect the onions causing the problem you describe. Maybe rotate where you plant onions if you put them in the same spot every year. Keep...

    Headed to the sale barn

Really happy with what they brought, that steer weighed more than I thought. Realize mine won’t be the top of the market so looking at the market report for southwest Missouri seems like they fell in the range.

    Headed to the sale barn

Hauling a day early, they are supposed to provide feed and water. If they get a chance to eat then I would think it would help. Will lose money to shrink but some would happen day of anyway. Would be interesting to know one vs the other. Weaned for over a month now.
