    Fun week-end(pictures)

Dang, Dun was that hail coming in horizontal? Are those holes in that vinyl siding?

Do you like Tractor Supply Co ?

I for one am glad there is a TSC near by. Our "feed stores" cater to the horse owner mainly. I buy feed from them, gates, panels, and some lumber. I support them even though they are geared towards the horse folks. I use TSC for welding supplies, bolts (by the pound are much cheaper than HD or...

    Cool Bridle Bits ***(PICS)***

Yep, I prefer a roper or a narrow bell bottom stirrup myself. Come on Ruby you got more pic's?

    Cool Bridle Bits ***(PICS)***

I noticed those cowboys had their feet too far in the stirrup.

    Vent

I use SSS also. Best not to let the neighbors know who might be gunning for their dogs so don't warn them. I have shot my share but the owner is the one who should be shot in my book except that would be against the law of course. ;-)

    Now that is wet

Naw, that ain't swamp land, too many pines trees on it. Just too much water and not enough sand in the soil for good drainage.

    Microsoft "Internet Explorer"

Try clicking on "tools" in IE, under the general tab, clear all your cookies and temp internet files. That will sometimes bog you down but then again there are a 1000 reasons for slow internet speeds from day to day.

    Caustic Norris

Boy am I glad I'm not a GURU. CN, let me be the first to say; I know nothing. I don't have any cows. I hate cows. Any advice I offer should be ignored. Any cattle knowledge I have was not learned in school so be real careful about anything I say about cattle. I'm just here for the party. :D

    Goin Postal...

I know a couple guys who are on full retirement from the Postal service due to bad backs. They have helped me lift heavy stuff on and off my truck and I have seen them load square bales by themselves. Seems if your back gets sore with them you get full retirement.

    Hey Flaboy

That's about the same as Rhett's price and you don't have to wait. Shoot who knows maybe he makes them for Eli.
  13. flaboy+

    Hey Flaboy

I haven't seen Eli's whips but at $10/ft for leather whip in my opinion is not a quality whip. If it is parachute cord and dipped in bee's wax then that is pretty good depending on how many plait it is. I just got tired of having to protect my leather whips like they were some collectors item...

    Hey Flaboy

D.R., that's where I get mine(cowwhips.com). Rhett makes some assume whips. I have three. Don't be fooled by the frilly colorful stuff in the pictures. Those are just for show. Rhett uses parachute cord and wooden handles also. I have been using his whips for a while. He is an old Florida boy...

    Question for large volume cow/calfers

D.R., I am surprised they would even try with herd sizes that large. There are some around me I spoke of before that don't even know how many cattle they have more less if a cow had a calf and which calf. Most of these folks just round em up once a year and ship. They don't even haul old broken...
