I hate hogs.

These got in the hay patch that is hog fenced, my son and grandson got all but two smaller ones, they found the hole in time not to get shot.

I grew up hunting with a 270, my dad always liked them and we would get hand me downs. Grandpa and uncle hunted with 30 06, I killed deer with them all. I’m partial to a 270.

I hunted down south once in my life,Zapata county, a friend took me and my grandson, we saw lots of deer but no shooters, my friend died week before last from a massive heart attack, we are the same age. My grandson did get to shoot at some javelina.

I agree they do kill each other. I shot a buck in Leon county, that when we walked up to him my grandson said, popo you shot him in the neck, but I didn’t, he got gourd by another boy, it was a big gash in his neck. We found this buck close to a county road, so anything could have happened.

My bunch found this one on our place in Coleman county, we had him on camera all year, until recently. He wasn’t far off the county road, we don’t know if he was poached, shot on neighboring property or hit by a car, he was 3.5 years old, we were giving him another year or two, but not now.
