    My huh moment happened at a small county fair while I was doing the evening feeding. A woman with a toddler on her hip walked into the barn and said, "Look honey, a horse." Her husband said, "that is a cow." She giggled and said, "I didn't know what you called it."

    I am not stupid. We would have gone to the hospital. Those pop up clinics and emergency rooms are for minor injuries and illness. Any smart person would not that they do not have the facilities or resources that a hospital has. And yes they can prescribe medications in Texas...

    Yes, they have nurse practitioners. They can write prescriptions. As I said, it is a part of the Memorial Health Care System. The hospital is across the road.

    Home Schooling

    I go to a lot of schools and all I can say is that if the schools were like this when our children were in elementary school, they would be homeschooled. It is sad how much the kids do not learn because the teachers have to teach only the stuff needed for a child to pass a test.
