Ended up buying one about 2 hours away from a JD dealer. Was able to go inspect, drive, and they offered me a “warranty” should anything major happen within a couple of months.

Got one more to look at that’s closer by. Hopefully tomorrow. Then I’m gonna pick between the two.

It’s a JLG with a Deere engine. Was told to stay away from the Cummins engines in the Telehandlers. Which surprises me bc I’ve always thought Cummins’ were pretty much the cream of the crop.

Looking at a piece of equipment in Bardstown, KY. Trying to find someone close by that can give it a quick look over and make sure it has no water in the oil, runs good, hydraulic pump works, etc. Willing to pay for their time. Not looking for something for nothing just trying to save an 8 hour...

Easily worth $50/trip IMO to have someone you can depend on, and I’m assuming he fits the bill regarding that.

Everyone has to start somewhere. But it dang sure ought not to be a distant location. If off site from home it should be relatively close.

Once you have a heaping pile of money the only thing you’re left without is power and control. Never been a problem for me as I’m still without the pile. But the more I read and hear, the more I think he has a very large role in what’s taking place.

Rifle definitely has more range. Shotgun is definitely more forgiving. I’d make sure my horse was comfortable with either!

While I agree it’s not the best tactic..... with enough practice you can dang near perfect the technique. Not many horses in GA so we’ve got it down pretty well. Try hard to save it until absolutely necessary though bc is much rather lead them than chase them. Sometimes it becomes inevitable.

Yep. And who’s to say they will be able to film then? I hope so. I enjoy watching it. But I can live without it as well. I don’t watch very much TV at all. But when I get home at night I want to watch something besides the news and I’ve seen every Andy Griffith episode at least 100 times.
