Sad to hear he died today RIP

Last night and this morning we barely had any snow flurries and a dam cold wind out of the north. Now the warm wind is out of the south and it's snowing like crazy.

On the new farm right in the middle of what are to be the working pens there is a 22 inch dbh black cherry tree. Thinking I'm going to need to take it out. Other thought is to cut it about 6 foot tall and leave there stump for a scratching post. Thoughts?
