To be a registered Black Hereford, they have to be at least 5/8ths Hereford and no more than 3/8ths Angus. and they have to be from registered Hereford and reg Angus lineage. There a lot that are 15.16ths or more Herford...more Hereford than a lot of Simms are Simmental.

We've had some good rains, but I'm already getting worried, it's been raining in some places nearby but we've just gotten a sprinkle the last couple times.
