That bottom black calf is stout!
Reminds me of my buddies red angus cow that he bought bred. Her bull calf is amazing like yours!

The last two photos are of the same calf. Blue sired heifer born in February.

New heifer born today. By the lim bull, 288 days gestation, unassisted.

Lim sired bull calf out of charx second calver. Unassisted.

The last calf sired by the lim bull. The second calf for the cow, calved herself. Around 295 days gestation.


The first of the heifers started calving, so there will be an update on their thread.

With some help today the first Maine Anjou sired calf landed. Bull calf unfortunatelly, but healthy and strong, so that's all that matters.
284 days gestation, would guess around 110lbs as he is quite soft.

Yesterday's heifer. Having an issue with her dam accepting her, so some extra work will be needed for now. Then will see if she will be raised by her mom or not.View attachment 43346

An update on this pair. Almost a month old already. Cow got one more calf to raise, so now after not wanting one, she is raising two.
