Today we ran hard to get chores done so we could go to town and watch our Huskers.
Watched. Drank. Left at the half to go view test plots.
On way home, the guys were really chattering. I recorded it. Not to be snoopy. I sincerely enjoyed hearing this banter amongst farmer to farmer. Corn prices. Inputs. Etc... it was enlightening. I won't share this exchange with you but I will with my husband next spring.
I think more often than not, "John Doe" sets precedence for the upcoming year but I want that moment to be on tape for my husband when he's making decisions for spring.
A little food for thought, what are your thoughts for next year... NOW?!
