Works pretty darn well on smooth ground. Not as aggressive as a chain harrow but 18ft wide covers some ground and is a lot easier to pull

Looks like you'd have to have the correct moisture in the piles or you're just relocating them.

I have been thinking about ganging a bunch of steel trailer rims on a pull post and making a pasture drag. I have a chin link harrow and you have to go over several times for it to be effective.

I built one from old tractor tires. Three on the front and two behind. Joined by sections of 1/4 high strength chain.
