Forgive me...not at all familiar either type of show. Have never had a halter on a cow/steer/heifer, etc. I can just imagine trying to take one of mine into an environment with lots of unfamiliar folks and noises/sights/smells, etc.Uh - yes.

Very nice cattle, indeed…but I have zero frame of reference in showing cows…@gman4691 ... if you do a little searching for posts by @Jeanne - Simme Valley ... there are some of her and her nephew showing the young cow and her bull calf that did so well for them this past year.... yep... halters and all....Pretty DA#@ NICE cattle.....
I show cattle to advertise my farm. I'm also very involved with the junior program. Been working with juniors, running shows, putting on clinics for 30+ years. I have a family of 3 siblings that we have been sponsoring for going on our 7th year. Kids that don't live on a farm.Very nice cattle, indeed…but I have zero frame of reference in showing cows…
