I was in the local dreaded Wallie World getting some last minute stuff for my son who was moving to college and I stuck up a conversation with the cashier while she checked me out. She asked me where my son was going to school. I told her Amarillo College and that he was studying mortuary science. She said that her son had planned to study that subject at that school, but that he had gone into the military and died in Iraq before he got the chance.

Bless her heart! What a coincidence to talk to her. I went home and told my son and he, too was touched. Bless that family for their sacrifice! :heart:

I live 10 miles from an army base Part of the regiment PPCLI --PRINCESS PATRICAS CANADIAN LIGHT INFANTRY. came home from afganistan on friday 27 came back draped in the flag I sure hope were makeing a difference over there.
