    Diesel additives cold weather

As you know it gets cold in Minnesota. I have used anti gel products in the past but always added #1 diesel when the cold gets serious. I am having a hard time finding #1 to blend in. Maybe just a local short term fluke, My question is the product I use says it will be good below zero. Will it...

    Cold weather shifting

"The original farmall books will tell you what oil to use in what temp range I don't know what weight you put in but it also says in farmall books if its in severe weahter to add some kerosene to the oil. I rebuild farmalls and usually put a lil kerosene in it anyway." thanks

    Cold weather shifting

I have an old M farmall that I use to get bales out of a lean to that the cabbed tractors will not fit. I changed the rear end oil and now when it gets down to zero I have trouble getting it to shift. I think I used too heavy of an oil. It will get down to 20 below F this coming week so I know...

    vermeer rebel 5400 problem

I have a 545XL baler, similar. The only time I ever plugged is when I have just dropped a bale and start out in a very heavy windrow. I ease in to the windrow until the belts start to turn. This is maybe 3 seconds. Most of the time just drop and go. farmguy
