    1954 Hereford bull book

Too bad Idaman is no longer with us, he would probably know some of the Bulls in there and may have used some sons.

    Black Herefords Question

The breed of the future! Dump every dime you have into them! Way over due. Sell a couple of kids or something. Okay do a search on CT and see most folks thoughts on them, they are barely different then a baldy.

    HEREFORD

Yes I'm pretty sure it was a pic of lineman's big beefy bull headed toward a trailer. I'm not sure which pic you're talking about regarding the tractor.

    HEREFORD

He posted a pic on one of his Bulls a couple of months ago, he does have some top notch stock.

    HEREFORD

I was under the impression you were part owner of that bull, after very little homework I see I was wrong. Thanks for your response. Alan

    JMJ Farms CS Boomer 29f

 , thank as you know it's easy to jump to conclusions on CT, I was one of two who had given advice on the this thread so I made a bad assumption. I never used 29f or saw him but I was just talking to someone else about AIing. One thing that happens is the bull has to work in your...

    JMJ Farms CS Boomer 29f

Just so there is no confusion you are talking about Durango, not 29f. Durango was the About Time sire. I never used Durango and did not research far enough to see his frame size, nor could I find it online. But look at the bull and it says my founders of him. Not to hijack my own thread, I...

    JMJ Farms CS Boomer 29f

A late reply to your question on my thoughts on 29f. My own thoughts, not an industry opinion, I feel 29f was one of the few quality influencial polled Hereford Bulls that helped bring polled Herefords back on track. In the years prior breeders had done a great job of screwing up the breed...

    Fall yearling Hereford Bulls

Terrible pic to judge him on, he's too stretched out, but he has depth and muscle in the hind end so he has promise, but would like to see a better pic of him. Also and more important the reg # you provided (43542642) comes up with a polled bull on the AHA site, which he is not. I really like...

    Fall yearling Hereford Bulls

Great looking Bulls as always, I would love to have any of them here. But also thanks for reminding some of these guys a here a Hereford bull doesn't need horns to be among of the best posted here. I always enjoy your pics, thanks again.

    Hereford help

Hello and welcome :welcome: I'm a long time Hereford guy, small time. But my advice for you in your situation trying to get a beef operation going that far north with four cows, black angus bull or if you can Black angus AI, I know what you said about AI.

    Hereford Bull

That's my question also, I would take the Herf bull in a heart beat. Great looking bull cpinz! Although horned Herefords are known to be very aggressive, how much and what type of tranquilizer was he on while you were perched on his back? You know what they say add the horns lose the...

    Hereford Bull

Duramaxgirl, there is an example of a great looking Hereford bull, nice cpinz! I have also gotten horn Herefords out of two polled animals. If both the bull and cow carry the gene, I believe there is a 25% chance of horns, not to be confused with scurs.

    Hereford Bull

I will admit some of the dummies breeding polled Herefords did it to themselves, just as the trend for the last few years, "I don't care what it looks like it has to be black!". Lots of good polled Bulls out there and as in any other breed lots of POS's. Horns have nothing to do with quality...
