    Took a drive

When we moved to Idaho in 2009, you could have bought something there for about 1/4 of what it's worth now. It's disgusting what this area has become. Too much money, too many people, and too quickly. There was an interesting piece on Jackson Hole yesterday on CBS Sunday Morning. I think...

    Took a drive

I haven't been to McCall in years. The last time we went it was a playground for Ada County. It was awful. Worst was the folks zipping around town in their UTV/side-by-sides. I don't think I'll go back, and I hate that b/c it's beautiful, just not worth the drive.

    Chutes

I'm not sure how big you're running, but I had one that was 2075# that ran through my Priefert S0-4 just fine. I love that chute. It's the least expensive, and it does everything I need. I have a "micro" herd (small number of cattle, not size-wise) and it's perfect. If had a larger herd I'd...

Would you use a classified section?

I'm doing well! I've passed all my cardiology appointments, and everything else is the same-old, same-old. Just gearing up for horse season. Hope you're doing well!

Would you use a classified section?

I don't see myself using it, but I can see it being useful for others. I say go for it.

    Heart Issues

Had my procedure last Wednesday. I passed with flying colors! Drove to Salt Lake City the day before, had it, was discharged on Thursday and drove home Friday. It's absolutely amazing. I met with my cardiologist yesterday who said I have 0 restrictions. Only issue I'm having is that I'm...

    Heart Issues

Thank you, I think this is going to end up being a fantastic thing. I'm just nervous going into it. There's a lot riding on this. Thankfully, this is an extremely safe procedure.

    Heart Issues

I've been struggling with this for some time. In June I got a call that the MD wanted to bring my case in front of a panel of 19 MD's. It was at this meeting that they determined I needed a valve replacement NOW rather than later. Apparently I'm at 43% regurgitation. Huge surprise to me...

    Value of spent tubs

My neighbor gives them to us for free, I won't be telling her about the $4 deal. We use them as water tubs for the horses and my wife uses some to garden in.

    Cattle buried in Landfills

It will be 106 in the next couple of days and our BLACK hided cows do pretty well with it. I don't understand it really.

    Airplane question

I get them all the time above us and I haven't seen rain in 6 weeks. I have also heard that when cows lay down it's about to rain, but that one doesn't work either.

    Airplane question

    Exactly!

    Airplane question

Call the government and tell them what you saw. Then report back here as to what happens.

    What changed?

In high school I had an 81 Chevy pickup. A buddy and I were riding around town and thought it would be hilarious to start mooning people. He got a couple of folks, and then decided to moon the lady behind us. Both of us idiots didn't realize that his a$$ was right above the plate. How stupid...

    Cattle drive!

It seemed like every year I forget this and can't figure out why my fence is off. I have finally remember to water the rods as a first step in the summer when it's dry and hot.

Does anyone know anything about Antique Car Values

Here's my thoughts if I owned a gifted classic car: if it's on the more rare side, I'd have it fixed up cosmetically. Throw $1K at it to shine it up. There's a bunch of online auction places, but I'd try that Mecom Car Auction place if there's one close enough to you to make it worth it. They...

    New Season Yellowstone

It got worse, with more violence and an extremely violent rape scene. I felt like the 4th season was pretty dull, and was too drawn out-like there was 5 too many episodes. If the next season isn't better that will be it for us, but we're definitely waiting until it hits DVD/Ebay to get it.

    I'm clean so far!

That's some good news right there!

    Broke down and tried one

Since we've started doing our own stuff I can't stand fastfood burgers. On top of the beef being just ok, the buns are usually on the stale side and the fries are always just about cold. And I'm floored at the cost of the meals these days. It's insane.

    A great evening

We got ours cut on Friday. For grass pasture it's looking really good out there. Not like when we were all alfalfa, but I'm pretty impressed. We'll see how I do when it's baled. What's it looking like for prices over there? Here it seems to be at least $20/bale, and a lot of guys are doing...
