What is the substance though? It has to BE something. Can't be created out of thin air. So the 5-600,000 lbs of beef a week coming out of US slaughter houses has to be replaced by something.
And people vehemently reject GMO's but will eat 'meat' out of a lab?

Funny how some parts of society forget so quickly where we came from.
fake meat is already taking a stab at retail sales.
Lab grown meat is on its way as top food giants are throwing tons of money at it.
They are looking 20 years into the future so they can drone drop some fake meat to the next millennial generation thats never even seen a blade of grass let alone know what a cow is.
go to the nearest larger town and talk to some city people about these issues and your mouth will drop with the responses.. these people are just plain dumb and everything they do is a$$ backwards from what they say.
