Anyone read much about this? Really getting out of hand with murder etc. And the white landowners are losing their ground for being white. Some many generations of ownership. Not making much news

No, it's not making the news. Saw a post on Facebook last week about cattle being slaughtered in South Africa simply because of their owners race & was horrified - as were 99% of the respondents. One of the comments was incredulous nobody was outraged at the slaughter of the actual farmers. I had no idea! In our world of 24/7 news & social media I'm shocked it isn't at the very least making headlines.

Media suppression is rampant in africa and the EU as well.

The UN is ignoring this and in my opinion - behind the scenes - encouraging it.

Now - imagine the world wide outcry and uproar if it was happening in reverse.

If that does not speak volumes then what does?

Criminal activity in africa is common. Carry it out against any white folks then it is not considered to be criminal by those who rule - as they often rule with terror.

Happening on a daily basis.

Purposeful media suppression by the mainstream media, the UN and the african rulers.

Now, imagine the outcry if what was happening was reversed and it was whites doing this to blacks.

Never doubt for a minute that only white folks can be racist - as the majority of the world would have you believe.

Cheers

If you search Google, there is media coverage. There are more factors than racism. Africa was the poster child for colonialism. Every country in eastern Europe had colonies in Africa. Eastern European countries sat down and divided Africa among themselves like it was a gigantic pie. Between the 1870s and 1900, Africa suffered European imperialist aggression, diplomatic pressures, military invasions, and eventual conquest and colonization. Ethiopia and Liberia are the only 2 countries on the continent that were never colonized. Between 1940 and 1960, Africa decolonized. Rebellion in Africa started with the Mau Mau uprising in Kenya. You simply cannot suppress native populations that outnumber you 1000s to 1.

South Africa became self-governing in 1934:

The country became a self-governing nation state within the British Empire, in 1934 following enactment of the Status of the Union Act. The dominion came to an end on 31 May 1961 as the consequence of a 1960 referendum, which legitimised the country becoming a sovereign state named Republic of South Africa.

Although South Africa is a Sovereign State, with the rule of law, humans are still humans. Retribution, poverty, envy, jealousy, hatred and racism all play a role. South Africa is simply the last domino to fall. White South Africans are an extreme minority that controls most of the farmland. It is likely that there will be expropriation of white farms. It happened in other African countries like Zimbabwe. In many respects, it is retribution. In many respects, it is seen as a means to get land back to the ones who were there first.

I have friends in both South Africa and Zimbabwe. Let's hope whatever happens is not as brutal as it might be.

It is not that simple. This is not an "OK". It's "NOT OK" event in human history. Each of us can make our own judgements. However, a perspective with some background is warranted.

Coming soon to a town near you.

Preface: this comes from ABC Fact Check.

Farm murders in the Republic of South Africa are not limited to whites. About 15 percent of farm murders include blacks. The Transvaal Agricultural Union which represents farmers has been keeping data. These numbers include blacks and whites:

2001. 50
2002. 72
2003. 48
2004. 49
2005. 37
2006. 35
2007. 47
2008. 53
2009. 45
2010. 43
2011. 32
2012. 39
2013. 42
2014. 40
2015. 38
2016. 49
2017. 58

There has been no statistical increase in farm murders since 2001.

The Republic of South Africa has experienced a higher increase in murders in the population as a whole than on farms. The murder rate is one of the highest in the world.

However, regardless of the murders, it is likely that at least some farm land will be expropriated.

You just hush your mouth with those dirty statistics. You might shatter someone's racist ideals.

Far more complex than is apparent, firstly. the Afrikaner trekboers, did not come into contact with the Bantu peoples until after they crossed the Fish river, thus annulling any claim by the Bantu tribes to the Cape/Karoo region. Land was traded from the Zulus for cattle, this land had been cleared of the original inhabitants by the Zulu - not the Afrikaner people so was bought from those who owned it by right of conquest. The Afrikaner people have been South Africans for 400 years, so why, just because of their racial origins and the fact that they did not pursue a policy of genocide on the tribes migrating into the country from the north (the Bantu arrived at the same time as the Dutch and displaced the San and Khoi peoples), as was done on other continents. The murders of the farmers are distinct from the shootings and stabbings common to most murders in the practice of often spending the entire weekend torturing the victims before murdering them, with no thefts usually taking place. The charity Genocide watch is monitoring the South African situation and claims the early stages of racial genocide are in progress. Finally, why was land still being sold to local whites and foreign investors under the new governments of South Africa and Zimbabwe, if the land ownership was being disputed from the beginning? These land grabs are in both cases later, politically based disputes. As a footnote, the many working farms bought and given to local blacks as part of the original land distribution have mostly failed to maintain production, so why would stolen farms be any more successful?

The majority won't be able to make it. No difference than being a coach in professional sports, most aren't cut out to be leaders.

Hmmmmm....Tony Dungy and Mike Tomlin seemed to figure it out as they each won a Super Bowl, or 2.
Most can mean few or plenty. Tony Dungy is one heck of a person and a great leader of people. Mike Tomlin is a good football coach.
