Best supplements?
Zinc? Iodine?
Add it to loose mineral?

Been having lots of cows with foot rot with all the rain and warm weather we've been having in the last 6 months.

Thanks in advance.

I've had decent luck incorporating the salt with EDDI in it. For a while I bought the iodine packets and mixed it in but it's easier to just buy it mixed

Believe its zinpro that makes a "dd" add pack for mineral which is mainly a certain form of zinc. Not a magic bullet but makes the hoof harder so less feet issues.

Zinpro 100 or Zinpro 40 is zinc methionine complex. Will improve hoof health over time but is not a cure for foot rot nor do you get immediate results. Not expensive so certainly could be added to your mineral as the primary source of zinc. In the meantime have your mineral manufacturer elevate the level of iodine in your mineral. That too is inexpensive and easy for them to do. Adding both should change the cost of a bag of less than $.50.
