I hated the ceramic chicken plates but I wore em when the pilots said we had to....flak jacket all the rest of the time. The ceramic bullet bouncers weighed about 25 lbs and hung off your shoulders from straps and by the end of the day, you felt every oz of it and kinda hard to put your trust in something that had a big warning "Do Not Drop" ..because they would break if you dropped them....
