One 573lbs, another 828.9lbs.

Have weighed a couple calves, which won't be weaned yet.
This guy was weighed at 131days- 529lbs, gaining 3.3065lbs/day.

One young heifer has 2.7lbs/day gain for now.

Have weighed neighbour's bull calf. He's 3/4 angus, from a heifer, 7months 20days old- 1049lbs, gaining around 4lbs/day without any meal, just grass and milk since birth. Some good calf. Plan to buy a weaned heifer from that neighbour, angus from a belgian blue x dairy cow.

they look great. especially like the ones in the 1st and 3rd photo.

hope this isn't a dumb question-do you take steers to an auction then they go to a feedlot?

and not trying to be nosey (well maybe) how much per pound do they bring?

Nice set of calves. I too really like the first and third. Not my type of cattle but it'd be fun to walk through a herd of them in person

No problem.
No steers here. All bulls. All will be sold for an export, got a set price for a liveweight - (weight kg-5%)x 2.64USD. We used to fatten them all by ourselves, but the current prices of big bulls are very low, so no use in keeping them here for now.

Thanks. Will try to get some photos of some other calves before they'll be sold. The ones you like both are sired by the same charolais bull. Overall pretty nice group of calves.

Really like to see your pictures. Your cattle really grow on pasture. I liked them all, we do not have the kind of extreme or double muscling here but I rather like it. Still, that char heifer was real nice.
Thank you for sharing.

Have sold all weaned bulls, most of over a year old heifers and some weaned heifers. Good to be down in numbers before winter.
I'd like to know our cows real weights that would be able to see how well they raise their calves, but some hard workers are very obvious. This cow is on the smaller side, around 1200-1250lbs. Her charolais calf was weighed at 218days age-811.3lbs. She sure knows how to do her job. And she is super calm.
