So with the conversion rate, they are bringing a little more than what we are getting here, or a bit more than here in Va...... in our dollar. Are your weights the same as ours or different... like imperial gallons and such in fuel???
A 550 lb steer at 480 is 2640....Canadian = about 1920 US? Don't have a copy of check from stockyard handy right now... Conversion about .70-.75 cents ????
Our 750 wts brought 2.53 I think it was... right around 1900... your chart shows that with the conversion that is around 2000 US dollars... so you are still doing better... but then you have nicer heavier type cattle than we do here too....
That is GREAT for you farmers/ranchers up there....

6 cows and 4 yearling bulls that failed semen test. Bought 69 yearlings. Some to breed and finished of my grasser pens. Will be thinking of forward contracting in another couple weeks.

Finished my grass heifer load.



Some of 50 heifers we bought to breed. 6th time we have bought these heifers and they have always done well for us. They were empty as snakes and green as could be as usual.

They look like they will do the job for sure. I bet this fall they come in all growed up and bred.
