If you qualify as a H2a employer your allowed to sub-out your employees?.... good to know.We got this large postcard in the mail this week. i know of one large tobacco/hemp producer in our area who brings guys in from Mexico to work every year. I usually try to get him to sub them out to me for a week or so to clean fence lines and roadsides when he has some downtime.

Doubt it. That's why I pay him and he pays his guys.If you qualify as a H2a employer your allowed to sub-out your employees?.... good to know.
Maybe your tobacco growing neighbor gave 'em your name and address so you'd quit pilfering his hired help..Doubt it. That's why I pay him and he pays his guys.
You can probably find all the info you want at that company's websiteAre there a lot of requirements on the employers end. We aren't near big enough to even consider that, but have heard that it's a lot of red tape and requirements as far as housing and other details.
Used to be some seasonal crews that worked in tobacco. Back then they would work for others after the main job was done.
Nope, it was addressed to my deceased father in law. I think he participated in a similar program 20 years or so ago when he grew tobacco as well.Maybe your tobacco growing neighbor gave 'em your name and address so you'd quit pilfering his hired help..
That would be sub contracting...Doubt it. That's why I pay him and he pays his guys.
