I've been pretty surprised at the amount of forage that has come up. The trail cam has made some decent pictures and the animals are looking pretty good too.

Yeh, great photos of some nice cattle Aero. Your grass is certainly looking good. The 1st two months of spring is usually our toughest time of year waiting for storms to get the summer grasses going.

Yes - 18 month old grass only.

The Murray Greys should be dropping calves any day (all 1st calf heifers) and the Aubrac heifers just turned 1 year and we will turn the bull in next month. 19 of the black ones are stockers (600-900 lb) and 8 black ones are custom grazed for family. There is one 3 month old black heifer calf in there somewhere that came with the custom grazing.

We have a lot of cool season forage that started pretty strong. Waiting to see how much summer grass starts popping up.
