what cattle do not like?

Yup. There's nothing wrong with working cattle by yourself, but have someone else there, even if he or she never gets out of the truck.
I am of the opinion that 2 working together can/will get just as much done as
3 working individually. Good teamwork makes all the difference in the world.

I won't disagree, if the two know what they're doing. I was referring to situations when you want to work cattle but the only person available to go along doesn't know anything about working cattle and isn't interested in learning.
 
Never had a single conversation with a cow, but I can tell you that they don't like me as much as I like them. The old cowboy trick of singing to them does work, though. I've lulled herds into calmness.
