Yardage Costs ?

My non feed costs have gone up with more cattle and input inflation.

Do you have any cost per head per day information to share that compares dry lot to bale grazing to stockpile grazing ?

Last time I did the numbers over 10 years ago, dry lot was over double the other two for me. That was with very well depreciated assets. Majority of people with excellent facilities/equipment would be closer to triple I bet, maybe more.

Going rate in Nebraska feedlots is about $0.30/h/d. Wouldn't know on the others though.

Everyone does it differently. I start up a tractor daily if I unroll hay. I start up a tractor about twice a week to handle dry lot hay and bedding. I start up a tractor about once a week to move rings and things when bale grazing. I move the poly wire about 3 times a week to graze stockpile.
