The seal is failing because the bearing is probably failing. That being said it’s not unusual for some turbo seals to seep some. I’d clean it up, feel the impeller for slop in the bearing and roll with it :)

Why did they call them railway engines? Speaking of engines. There is a post on Newagtalk with pictures of Oshkosh and 18 P51’s all cranked up. They said the sound of all those Merlin’s at once was pretty cool.

Try some Amsoil gear lube or Swepco brand if you can get it.

I’d pull the orfice tube ( if it has one) and look for debris....I think you have overcharged it too.

Tried to use a mower the other day and it won't go into gear. It's an older Craftsman 38" with @18 HP brigs and stratton. Looked at the basics...belt, clutch shift lever but that stuff all looks good...drove it in the shed...anybody got any idea what's going on? Thanks.
