    Zero turn

Something to think about with diesel mowers are their weight. Do you cut on slopes or wet and or soft ground?

    Zero turn

In my opinion they only make two awesome zero turns Exmark and Toro Commercial. The commercial's runs about the same price as exmark but also has heavier spindles, deck, and pumps like an exmark. Walker rank up there also but are for fancy manicured yards. I have run a little bit of every thing...

    Multiple spindle bush hog

It's a woods 10ft. It seemed like it was timed right when it started hitting. The spindles were perpendicular to one another. I did as Dun suggested. Thanks Dun. It worked for now. The gear boxes looked fine. The only thing that I noticed was that the 6 splined shaft on one gear box was in...

    Multiple spindle bush hog

Has any one had one that blades started hitting each other. At first I thought the shaft had some how jumped a tooth. Now I think the blades and or bolts are worn allowing them to hit one another. Has this happened to any one else?

Tractor is too loud- Two mufflers?

Sky 10 years ago I would agree with you. Now I like them quiet. I sure as heck don't like running open station stuff with a straight pipe. I like them so I can barely hear the radio enough to song to steering wheel but still hear if all hell is breaking loose behind me. I spend more time...

    4X4 Gator, Mule, similar . . . ??

I like the newer rangers. The new 900 ranger is the best one they have made yet. They changed the engine transmission up from the previous 800 models. It shares the same powertrain as the RZR XP 900. The ranger XP's have a detuned version of the 900 engine. I have a RZR XP 900 it's been reliable...

    jonsered chainsaw

We use Stihls at the city. They have a pretty rough life, but yet are fairly reliable for the most part.

    SUV's

My wife drove a Nissan Xterra for several years. She put 100K on it before some asshat hit her and totaled it. It was trouble free. Oil changes, tires, and brakes were the only things serviced while we had it. We looked at replacing it with another Xterra but decided on an Altima instead. It...

    Disc mowers?

We run 2 krone mowers. We have a AM283S and AM323S. We haven't had any problem with them other than one seal on the 283. It was from the old man running it with the 3 point hitch on the ground. He wrapped a huge bunch of hay around the shaft several times.

    Disc mowers?

What about Krone? Does any one else here use them?

    Backhoeboogie: for your approval

I would weld a pipe about an inch larger in diameter than you hay spear in bottom of the V in the center so it could be easily picked up with a tractor. I would also weld skids that run from post to post. If you can't pick it up completely you can pick it up enough to push it across the ground...

    baling equipment

If your financially able I would buy a new baler. There are deals on good used stuff out there. If you have very limited or no expericene with what to look for you could be setting your self up for trouble. I would try to pick up a used 11-13ft cutter and a 8-10 wheel v rake. As you go along you...

    Tell me about a ford/NH 2120

I think it would pick them up ok. It would probably be best to have a bale on the back. It weighs 4500lbs. Rear lift is rated 3500lbs. If it has a half yard bucket bucket level full of sand will be 1250-1300lbs. A heaped up bucket easily way 1500lbs. A little bigger tractor would be better but...

    which new trator to buy

I will agree with whats already been said. I run a M6800 and M8540. They are good reliable tractors at a fair price. The cab on the 8540 is a lot nicer than 6800. I think the M100-M135 is the way to go though. I haven't run a new deere so I can't recommend one of them. Things I would like to...

    reversible fan.

I used to run a Komatsu wheel loader with a reversible fan. It worked good enough to get you to the end of the day or dinner time when you could get to the shop to blow it out. I feed a Vermeer tubgrinder with the machine grinding once hammer hardwood mulch. The dust was extremely fine saw dust...

    Cattle Trailers

I would have it done at a shop. The DIY stuff is a joke compared to the professionally installed stuff.

Question about my John Deere 5093E

I also say its vapor locking. Usually a shot of either will make it start back. I have a older dodge truck that does the same thing from time to time.
